I like when AEW brings Japanese Wrestlers like Suzuki, Kojima, Nagata, Yuka to have some dream matches but i hate the reaction of the fans towards them. How the fuck can you say that Suzuki is the Japanese Goldberg ? Yuka and Itoh got racism. This shit can't continue

Gatekeeping is bad, yes, but when you see takes like "Minoru Suzuki is a nobody" doing the rounds, maybe gatekeeping is actually good.

Minoru Suzuki was described by some clod as Japanese Goldberg. Japanese Goldberg!?! How to say you are bad at making valid comparisons with one tweet.

Yes. Because Goldberg is winded 30 seconds into a match, whereas Suzuki can still keep up. Glad you understand now!

Those aren't AEW fans if I'm being honest. The AEW fans made Suzuki trend at no.4 in the US. E drones with the Suzuki = Goldberg takes, Cornette listeners with the racism. It's always the same group of people https://t.co/GaxwDhSd77

I’ll be honest it’s been a tough few days but reading some replies/reactions tonight has made me laugh more than I have in weeks

Most of the people calling Suzuki, Japanese Goldberg are actually WWE fans. I have not seen any AEW fans call him that. Most of the racist comments are from them too.

Suzuki is Japanese Goldberg might be the funniest thing I've seen on Twitter in a long time

Taker & Goldberg in their prime can’t wrestle as well as Suzuki now 😅
