Chris Benoit y su la nueva polémica
Chris Benoit sigue generando polémicas a 15 años de su muerte y eso es natural, considerando que las circunstancias de ese deceso implicaron un homicidio doble contra su mujer y su hijo pequeño. Jordynne Grace, luchadora de IMPACT Wrestling, cuestionó en redes sociales las habilidades in-ring del canadiense.
Esto comenzó cuando el user de Twitter RobertONeill31 afirmó que era curioso como los luchadores resaltan las habilidades de Benoit en redes sociales, dejando en un segundo plano las declaraciones sobre lo horrible de su crimen. En ese momento, es cuando Grace señaló que Benoit no está al nivel de los mejores luchadores de la actualidad.

Posteriormente, un fan le preguntó a Jordynne el razonamiento de su punto. Lejos de argumentar con datos técnicos sobre su supuesta falta de calidad, la luchadora afirmó que quizás simplemente no puede separar al profesional de la persona.

Gail Kim se sumó a la conversación y afirmó que independiente de los hechos, no se puede negar la calidad de Benoit. Y razonó que esa crítica también suele darse con Kurt Angle, otro luchador que no está del todo valorado en la actualidad. Ante eso, Grace volvió a afirmar que debido a la persona detrás del luchador, no se debe apreciar a Benoit.

Interesante debate que se convierte en un ¿Se puede separar a la obra del autor? Y es una situación que se extrapola a la vida misma. Entre las figuras geniales que le han brindado aportes significativos a sus campos, siempre ha habido quienes aparte de hacerlo han tenido vidas sórdidas, oscurecidas por sus crímenes.
Benoit siendo tendencia ha provocado diversos comentarios sobre el tema con Jordynne y también, otros como el recuerdo del incidente de backstage con The Miz, cuando lo desterró de los bastidores.
