Deadlock Pro Wrestling baja el telón hasta nuevo aviso

Malas noticias llegaron este fin de semana luego que Deadlock Pro Wrestling (DPW), una de las promociones independientes más importantes de los últimos años informara su cierre hasta nuevo aviso.
“!Hola a todos! El próximo evento de DPW será nuestro evento del 4.º aniversario en Cary, Carolina del Norte, el viernes 12 de diciembre. Realizaremos un evento más en Japón en 2026, pero este será el último evento de DPW en el futuro previsible. Hemos decidido convertir el evento en una recaudación de fondos para ayudar a las familias de la zona al finalizar la temporada navideña de 2025 y comenzar el nuevo año”, escribieron en redes.
“Ha sido un verdadero placer producir eventos de DPW estos últimos 4 años. Gracias a todos los fanáticos, luchadores y a todos los que trabajan detrás de escena que hicieron posible todo esto. Estamos extremadamente orgullosos de lo que hemos logrado y estamos emocionados de celebrarlo con un gran evento de aniversario en diciembre. Gracias por todo”, complementaron.
DPW fue fundada el 1 de noviembre de 2021 por Anthony Douglas, James Darnell y John Blud.
Durante sus cuatro años, Deadlock Pro Wrestling vio nacer a figuras como Adam Priest, Dani Luna, Jake Something, LaBron Kozone, Je’Von Evans, Violence Is Forever, entre otras.
