Claudio Castagnoli vence a Chris Jericho y recupera el Campeonato Mundial de ROH

Por segunda vez, Claudio Castagnoli es nuevo Campeón Mundial de ROH. Lo hizo tras derrotar a Chris Jericho en Final Battle 2022.
El suizo ganó el título por primera vez el 23 de julio de 2022 en Death Before Dishonor. Luego, el 21 de septiembre en Grand Slam, lo perdió ante Chris Jericho.
Así comenzó el reinado de “The Ocho”, donde defendió el campeonato ante Bryan Danielson, Dalton Castle, Bandido y en una Fatal Four Way en Full Gear.
Pero Claudio quería una última oportunidad, donde si perdía, unirse a la JAS era su próximo destino. Sin embargo este lo evitó consiguiendo así su segunda correa.
